Yeah, Tone and b0unce are the funniest smart dudes on this forum. Both get laughs from me in two totally different ways. These dudes need to be pals and put together a joint stand-up routine.

Something like this except with Live 4.1.4 and a synth maybe.

Yes, as much as I am! And that is the point why you have to watch your language and how you use certain associations! It was not me who used that example of "what can go wrong with too restricted education".
Timur, no offense, but either you're not at all comprehending my analogy, or it's a language barrier thing, where subtly of intent is missed.
How the hell could I have her as a singer if I wasn't OK with her being a goth lesbian???

The point was, and is, and maybe I should have stated this, but... children raised in families where they are allowed plenty of freedom to make mistakes, and have the respect of their parents etc. tend to end up like their parents. Basically if you don't want your kid to be a republican and you're a nice liberal, then in my opinion restriction of content is a sure fire way to create an environment where your ideology doesn't look so good.

Case in point, guy I know who is a republican, really nice guy. Hi parents were really pretty nice too, and republican. My parents are radical left, and allowed me the freedom to be who I wanted, and I ended up with their ideology. Not a big mystery.

That strikes me as odd. I disagree with people, and am maybe too honest, but I don't attack people, just their ideas. I will stand by my opinion even if it isn't the popular one, I guess that might unsettle you.

My only and constant reason for any debate with you is you state your emotions and feelings on some issues as fact. It's probably just a grammatical anomaly on your part, and I suspect it is, because we never get too emotionally charged in a discussion. thanks for that. 8)

I just pointed UKRuss to the fact that the analogy came from you. ;) In general I think you and I are on the same boat! :)

Just to make sure, when I say "liberal" I do not mean political orientation, but mostly free thinking. In fact I don't agree with some of the core political agendas of most liberal parties, but can also agree to some. Still, in history both Ireland and India had their share of liberal politics from the british goverment, the result was millions of people starving to death while corn was even exported from their countries for profit. I'm sure there are several other examples in history that prove how pure market self-regulation fails to feed societies.

Anyway I can get along very well with people from most political orientations, although I don't like extreme right and left world-views because they both tend to be totalitarian and always need an enemy to function (someone against whome to be "better", a concept of the enemy).

Cheers mate.

My emotions and feelings as fact? They always are, but I get what your saying. Grammatical? Yeah, I really don't have a lot of faith in my writing ability, though your damn sharp for calling it. I'll call it a foible of mine in some regards. What might seem as me pontificating fact is really personal faith that I am what I say. I'm cheerleading myself. I pass no judgement on others here. None. Unless It's the obvious entertainment of taking a piss which I really enjoy. I believe the responsibility of understanding is a little more on the observer, especially on a web forum which can be challenging for poor communicators. I'll usually take the high misunderstanding road when reading posts. On a personal note, I'll be 47 this summer. I've had a hell of a rough time the last five years and I want peace. In it's most simple form, I just wanna dish out the very thing I want back and with no expectations or conditions, so I put it out there. You're a very solid dude in my book. You've shared and helped others with your personal experiences, you call people out in a chill and measured way that has to be responded to. There is absolutely no way I can ever get heated with you. Why miss out on a potentially creative and informative exchange. Believe me, I need the help.

Not saying you are incorrect grammatically, and I'm only about 6 years behind you in age! 8O I guess and example would be saying

now to me this is an emotional statement made as fact. When I read it I see no room for other views, it's not your opinion you're giving but fact.
My feelings on this are that while most people don't notice they're doing it, it's not so subtly hostile. Now it's not Neb in this case that's the issue, ( and I would be inclined to point this out if you were talking about me as well, people have a right to form their own opinions about me ) it's the language used.
But yeah, maybe I'm taking you too literally, and I'm Ok with saying that about Neb if we can throw b0unce, TITBAG, Leisuremuffin, or Tone Deaf's name in there instead if we want to.
Beyond that just so people know, there's not a person here on these forums I despise, even if I disagree with them, it's just words filling time between beats and noise.

Agreed completely, though I would have a working anarchy over any system, something like what germany has is pretty OK, but I'm dealing with neo cons.....

Besides if you switched to mac we would have almost identical set ups....... PadKontrol, Kore, Remote 61 SL, I need you around man! 8O

Oh no, the quote can possibly be fact, but It is most definitely an opinion. It is certainly speculation since I thought it to be a probability. Anyway, there's nothing but room for all views. What I see are a ton of views in concert. I just don't believe there is a unifying truth that we should all agree upon. Just a bunch of different realities heading to similar conclusions from different directions. My fact is only my experience. It is all anyone of us has. My interest in other views is to refine mine and not to categorically prove them wrong. There is nothing I want to prove with this exchange.

I just want to post this because I'm feeling like a tight ass. Cheers to Angstrom for a most excellent gif.
