Hi,
I'd like to use Ableton Live 7 for rehearsal room recordings with my band...I already programmed the signature changes, but we also have some speed changes in our songs...is it possible to programm the speed, that you have for example 120 from bar 1 to 16 and 135 from bar 17 to 31, etc.?
I'd be grateful for any help

if your in session view you could name the scenes in the master channel like 135bpm as soon as the scene is triggert it will chanche the tempo..make scenes as long as you play your part in the specific tempo..then use follow action scenes..that the scene will change automaticaly..think that should work..if you wanna know how to set up follow actions by scenes check my website..i wrote a tutorial..about this..choose ableton live on the left and then follow actions below..only problem is..i don`t know if the scene automaticaly start in record mode..that could be a problem..well find out i would say..

you can try controlling the tempo in real time via TAP - map it to some midi controller (foot switch is a good candidate).
we have successfully tried this in a band and it works really GREAT!
