help please about saving a live set

hi, can someone help me please as im getting well confused.....

im trying to save a live set, either as a set or a pack, but it just keeps ending up being really massive, like about 400+ megabytes.

ive tried consolidating things to see if that is any help but it doesnt really seem to be.

how can i get to save the set so that only the sounds that actually appear in the arrangement are saved in the set (or project, or pack or whatever it's called)? it seems to want to keep saving other files in it too

any help appreciated, meanwhile i shall persevere

freezing tracks requires a lot of megabytes (hundreds).. maybe is that the problem?
