Korg Microkontrol preferences

My first post......I am having trouble setting the preferences for setting up my Korg Microkontrol. It was working okay in Live 6 but is now not working since I upgraded to 7 and I can't find any info on the required settings. Can someone please help. Thanks[/code]

Hi and welcome.

Are you asking about how to set it up as a midi controller?

Do you have any midi input at the moment?

It should be a drop down in the preferences midi section (both sections top and bottom) you need to turn on the input and remote control section.

Yes, I want to set it up as a midi controller.

I don't appear to be getting any imput from the Microkontrol. I am not sure what settings I need in the preferences.

Same settings as Live 6. Midi preferences, turn on remote control and track input for both microkontrol port 2 and port 3.

I seem to have fixed it
I have input port 2 turned on and output port 2 turned on
output port 3 seems to make no difference

im actually having a very similar problem..
im trying to use a microkorg as a controller, but in the midi/sync preferences i have no input options..
do i need to set a midi channel or something and if so what is it, or could it be a problem with my interface?

any help is appreciated.
