Hello,

Which version of Live are you using, on what computer, with which hardware ?(soundcard, controllers information is relevant).

If you are using Live 7, did you try the latest beta version, available in the top most post of this forum section, and if you get a crash, a crah pack will be created on the next start of the beta. Please send this pack to [email protected]

Hi,

Well, Most useful would be if you're able to reproduce this error with the latest beta, and then send the crash report.

Did you identify a pattern, a way of doing things that make the crash occur every time, or some tracks that always make the software crash?

BTW, if using Live 6, why not using 6.0.10, which is the latest bugfix and most likely less willing to crash?

If you've got one short mp3 track for which you always get a crash, can you send it to me? [email protected]

Also, which of the 5 warp modes are you using? (Beat, Repitch, Tones, Texture, Complex)?

just sent u the track.

i use BEAT. After a certain point in this track the error occures after using the automated warp modus (warp from here with 'Projecttempo'). It happens in any case at point 1467 with clip 1/16 (try it there)

Hi,

I'd need a bit more precise description, on how to do it:

- drag the clip in a new set
- Leave the tempo at 120?
- Choose "Warp from here (start at 120 BPM)", or something else?
- then, what is point 1467? Bar 1467? Here the track you sent is only 86 bars..

Well, I haven't tested it yet, but refering to this post:

Another beta for the upcoming 7.0.2 bug fix is available.
The current beta, Live 7.02b6, is free for every Live 7 customer and will expire on the 04th February.
With this beta we are very close to the final release of Live 7.0.2.
7.0.2.b6 has expired yesterday...

- Yes, put it in a new set.(but happens in any project)
- Tempo shouldnt matter (i guess it happens at any tempo)
- Warp from here (start at "projecttempo"). (it happens probably with any algo)
- As i said, u have to chose 1/16 in the clip window at "Signature" then u will find Point 1467

Hi,

Thanks for the explanation. I could reproduce the crash, thanks a lot for your help! I'll report it, but can't yet tell when it will be fixed.

Kind regards,
