Hi I have been investigating a lot to use my midi foot pedal with live.
My equipment is a MAC 2.4 GHZ intel core duo laptop
and the interface is a midisport 2*2 (it functions well with other midi devices and live) so the problem is in the behringer
I found 2 websites where it was explained how to use this pedal with live, but I have experienced problems with both:
1 - http://bl0rg.net/~manuel/fcb1010-mappings/
2 - http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 30cd2cf87f
1- In the first case
I have downloaded and copied the folder "FCB1010" into the Ableton Live's "MIDI Remote Scripts" folder.
that's correct
Then i turn on the FBC 1010 pressing the down button.
The "DIRECT SELECT" LED turns green. I press two times on the "UP" foot control to reach the "CONFIG" page.
Press the "7" foot control to active SYSEX RCV.
Until here everything is correct...but then ableton live does not allow me to press the dump button
2 - In the second case
Hi I have been following your useful instructions to see if I could use my Behringer midi foot controller with live and the problem that I am experiencing is that when I arrive here
6. Next, you have to assign a MIDI CC to pedal #1. Do this by holding down pedal #6 labelled CNT 1. Pedal #6’s LED should light up and stay on.
It is like if I chose pedal 6 with any special thing happening it stays chosen normally until i touch another pedal
I am stuck on here and I have been investigating but i can not understand what is happening
WHAT am I doing wrong??
thank you for your help in advance
