glitches in audio with dlsmusicdevice

I'm getting a lot of digital distortion and glitching from the Apple DLSMusicDevice in Live 7.0.2. All I have to do to reproduce this is load up several instances of the AU and loop midi clips on each one and eventually some pretty nasty distortion creeps in after looping them for a few minutes. Anybody else seeing this?

Does these glitches away when you temporarily disable the Multicore option in Live?
If yes it is probably the same issue like with other Audio Units from Apple. Some of them are not thread-safe. That means you get dropouts when you use several instances of them on several CPU cores.

Switching multicore support off doesn't fix the problem once it happens, but disabling it before I load the set does seem to fix it, so it probably is a thread safety issue. Thanks .
