First glance it seems a lot better. I did 2 tracks with 7.01. I am going to do a new creature track today, so we'll see how better it is. If they have really got rid of all the glitches and cpu spikes i will be very pleased indeed.

Drum racks alone is going to make doing my next album imense fun

Haven't find anything different when it comes to my way of working with it... that said, I have never had any "real" problem wit .0.1, so...

But it's too early to talk, for me, yet.

the stability of 7.0.2 is really good (like the latest 6), i did not experience any crashes whatsoever. It would be a great version, if not for the ultra annoying performance issues, i get lot of dropouts, stutters and clicks when running live with low latency buffer settings

I am still getting very annoying cpu spikes and glitches when I have my Novation Remote 25SL enabled. If i quit out of live turn off the SL and reload Live, the glitches and spikes dissapear completly.

Is anyone else still noticing this?

Ableton people, is there any way around this problem??

I have the same problem, scrap what I wrote before.
I have it with 7.0.1 now as well. Even when just playing back audio.
I have tried all manner of adjustments, and reinstalling Live and my soundcard firmware.
In the morning I will try it with uninstalling the Novation Automap server- I will post back results, maybe that is the culprit.

Ahhh Creature, it seems there may be hope.

I uninstalled the novation remote server thingy- no difference.

BUT I changed the midi sync preferemces to:

Control surface- Remote sl

input and outut : remote sl port 2

Midi port settings are:

Input remote sl port 1 = track and remote ON

Input remote sl port 2 = track and remote ON (this says remote sl input(remoteSL:Port)

only have output remote 2- track ON

Either in Live 6 or the novation guide it says to select track and sync on ; it appears to have changed.

I am now only getting crackling when i try to turn automapped contro;s with the mouse.

Still, uses a load of CPU, two plugins is getting to 50% cpu +!

anyway, glad that's sorted. I hope that's it anyway!

I'm still getting gaps (pops/clicks) with MIDI use. The latest release has not addressed my problems and Alex has hinted in his comments that they are still working on the gapping issue. This is as simple as grabbing an Impulse factory preset and laying out a rythm track (1 track!). I have tried adjusting buffer size to rediculously large and it doesn't solve the issue (I've used both asio4all and the factory presonus driver). I'm very irritatted with Live 7! Live 6 works peachy.
