I can't get Groove Agent to record fill triggers more than once in session mode. All the other controls- accent, 1/2 tempo, every other parameter mod, seem to work, just not fills.
Just to clarify- I'm not trying to record the MIDI notes per se, I know that you can't record the MIDI output of a VSTi in Live as of yet. I'm trying to record the triggering of the "fill" button within the plug in like any other parameter automation.
here's what i do:
1- Open Live.
2- Drag Groove Agent from browser onto MIDI track.
3- Open GA's plug in window, press start in GA.
4- Arm the session record button & press session play.
5- Hit the "fill" button a bunch of times in GA.
6- Press "stop session" 2 times. Press "play session".
Result: I only get the FIRST fill instance I recorded. Any subsequent fills are nonexistant. This is NOT the case with any other parameter automation I have tried.
My setup: Dual 1GHz G4 power mac, OS 10.3.5, Live 4.0.1, GrooveAgent
