Any idea about this synth?

Post by plugz » Sun Feb 10, 2008 7:16 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for the synth (on the kick) used in this track.

It seems this synth got a big saturation whit mid eq.
Maybe is that a sample or some layered synths because it sounds very colourful...

any idea about?

A.

you should be able to recreate that synth sound with any synth, sounds like a little saturation on it... not going to explain how to get the sound, tweaking is your friend here. half the time i just twiddle shit till it sounds good to me... someone else might know exactly how to recreate this sound, and might tell ya, but i would say experience would be better, never bad to learn a synth... just spend some time with one...

i'm a quick learner, and the professors of ableton forum teach well in the ways of the thread... direct links are easier, don't have to open a new page/leave current page... remember, the easier it is to understand what you want, the more likely you will get the results you want... wasn't trying to be mean=)
