"Slice to midi" results with wierd pops...

Post by dflux » Sun Feb 10, 2008 11:18 pm

Using 7.0.1, just installed... first thing I do is try this new feature out.

After the slice, I playback the loop and it has random pops in it. Seems as if the timing is leaving spaces in between the parts. All random... adjusting the length/decay a little seems to alleviate it.

Anyone have this issue and a fix?

I am looking at all the threads right now on the forum... from the looks of the board 7 needs some work. I would like to use 7 but seeing all this makes me a bit nervous...

Slicing can always cause pops because it divides an audio file in separate samples, play the samples one by one, see which samples cause the pop and adjust the position/length of the sample!
