Moog 3 band parametric eq how much?

I know someone with a few of these who wants to get rid of them and im interested in buying one, but how much should I offer for it? I can't find anything online price-wise for used ones...thanks

best way to start bargaining is to ask them how much they are hoping to get for it. thats how the pawn shops always do it.

dude comes in and says "how much will you give me for this"
pawn shop "how much are you hoping to get for it"
dude "as much as I can get"
pawn shop "well how much were you expecting?"

I think the idea is that if you get lucky and they say "5 bucks" then you just have to say "sold"
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

Yahoo auctions here in Japan, in the past 2 months 2 have sold, one for 80,000 yen, the other for 91,000. That's about $750-850.

Yeah, i have a tascam 1884 up on craigslist and this guy wants to make a bargain/trade, so i need a little more background before we haggle. He wanted to give me some cash plus the moog, so I could be in the money here, and he has 2!. Anyone see any recent prices in the US though?

some dude on myspace gots one for 700 bucks... i'd probably check it out for that much, i'm sure it could do something useful... question is, do YOU need it?
