Once you've done the 10.5.2 update, make sure you check for updates again because I just did and there's a Leopard Graphics Update, around 46MB.

The problems that I had with Leopard seem to be gone now (at first sight). Although I have 1 major issue with Leopard (i dont know bout Tiger) which is the following:
If I navigate through folders in Finder with my Mighty Mouse, the icon images (folder icons etc) update very slow. When I navigate with the arrow keys, the slowlyness goes away.. in fact navigating now is supperfast! I have found a workaround for this but its not a good one: If you set the double click option of the mouse in sys prefs to FAST, the folder icons in Finder update way faster but then you have to double click like really really fast... whcih is a no-go for me. Did anyone found a remedy for this? I am not the only Apple user with this problem because after a few Google pulls I stumbled upon similar stories

To my surprise, there was no iPhoto, iMovie or iDVD included. Went to the Applestore to figure out what was up. The iKid told me that indeed, Jobs is selling those vital apps in a separate $80 disk.

The iKid allowed me to return the iGyp.

yup, the iApps only come pre-installed with a new mac, not with a new OS.
10.5.2 seems ok here.

It is indeed possible, I've done it. I believe its install extra or additional software option from your Tiger disks (you will need DVD 2)

I am pretty sure that has been standard with every big (not point) upgrade. You are only buying the OS, not the extra bundled goodies that you get with a new computer (therefore you have to go and install them from your old discs, or buy the new iLife).
