Live 7 Projectmix IO

Since the upgrade to live 7 (7.0.1) to be exact, my projectmix io now no longer will work as a control surface? The audio is still fine, however it just says Control Surface is in Live Mode, or device offline when i start live 7. Live 6 still works fine. Any ideas?

Hi, it's quiet the same for me:
the Projectmix works as control surface etc.. with Live 7.0.1 but after a quiet intensive work a big crash happened (like a sound like grzzzzzzzzz and my gear reboot ... !!)
My platform is aPC with windows XP PRo and is exclusive for DAW appz...

I use to try the live 6
demo with a M-Audio FW 410 and use to work like a charm...

Hi folks,

if you are on Windows, does it makes a difference when you switch the "Port Type" of your MIDI ports to MME instead of DirectMusic?

You could also give the latest Live 7.0.2 beta a try:

yuhuuu it works....delete preference file, it works without problems....

Im on windows XP SP2. I have tried switching to MME/Direct Music, makes no difference either way.

Delete preference file? isnt that just for macs?
