I am doing a set incorporating an efx-1000... would like to do a feedback loop which means i would like to able to hit a button on my midi mixer to stop the set dead... and then hit another button to resume it from where I stopped it.
If I am using the keyboard it means I would do;
SHIFT+Spacebar to stop the set
Spacebar to resume the set from the stop point.
How can I map a midi button to a keyboard shortcut.
Using midi button to do equiv of (Shift+Spacebar)

bomes midi translator for windows or midipipe(?) for osx:
midi in-translate from midi cc to shift+space->midi out to your virtual midi cable. do the same for space obviously. so you have two translators then.
in live, set your virtual midi cable to recieve midi.
thats it.
not sure how midipipe works, but in bomes midi translator if you want your controller to work as "normal" except the specific things you translate it to, you have to check midi through in the settings.
setup in bomes should go like this:
controller in-virtual midi cable out.
also, disable the controller you want to map in live, otherwise youll have conflicts.
