i just asked about this native support issue yesterday, and fellow forum user am responded with his custom setup:

i haven't had a chance to test it out yet, please post your results if you try it out. i won't scold you for not searching the forums thoroughly enough because i'm new here and i haven't earned that right yet

.
on my own i wasn't able to get the microkontrol to do anything as an automapped surface, there was no response whatsoever, from the faders, knobs, etc., let alone with drum racks. i'd really like to be able to assign samples or whatever to the entire strip of cells for an instance of drum racks and have the focus box move through the 4x4 blocks as "banks". unfortunately, i don't think there's any way to move this focus box yet except with a mouse - something that is just begging to be addressed in 7.03.
i bought my microkontrol used and haven't done a complete factory reset on it, but using the second scene and manually setting up midi manually in live i was able to get the drum rack to respond on it's default grid, corresponding perfectly to the 4x4 pads on the mK. however, with just the manual configuration it did not automatically change to a different set of pads when i moved the cell focus in live, like it should when automapped properly (in live 7.02, mind you - drum racks didn't officially support the microkontrol until this update, so be sure that is installed). it just kept triggering the same cells, even though they were no longer focused in the rack.
please let us know how it works for you after trying am's setup.
