Tempo taping to 300

I don't know if it's a bug or something I shouldn't do, it doesn't happen all the time : when I tap the tempo whether with the mouse or with a shortcut, it goes to a value of 300 in between my hits, let's say it detects 120 it displays 300 when i'm not hitting and when i release it goes back to 120
