How to get recorded Midi notes out of Live?

Is it me, or is there no better way of getting Midi notes from recorded clips out of live than by creating a Midi track for every other track you want to send out?

Sorry about the uninforming query

What I need to do is to send midi note information from midiclips back to my padKONTROL so I get visual feedback on the illuminating pads. I do this by creating a midichannel that gets input from another midichannel playing a clip and sends it to a channel on the padKONTROL. I therefore have to have two channels for each actual track in my liveset and I was wondering if there was a way to send midi note information from the actual track thats playing the clip?

playing clips automatically send midi notes when they are triggered. So, you don't need to do anything in Live, you need to get your PK to respond to the right notes
