OSX "Leopard Problems" and Fixes....

Post by xzusa8ky » Sat Feb 16, 2008 5:13 pm

Hi

Yes i know this ain't gonna be true for everybody, but for me it is! What a Horror release! I been working on macs for the last ten years and i haven't seen anything that bad from Apple!

I am writting this post because i am totally dissapointet about Apple's OS Leopard, and i want to warn other users before they install this piece of crap on their machines.

What a crap system! It did destroy all my disks, my old system 10.4.11, and now i can't even install to any of my disks anymore? Kernel Panics all the way! And all day long!

The new update 10.5.2 is a joke! 10.5.1 was a joke! and Leopard 10.5 even more crappy!

I have spend more than five days now, trying to solve the problems but it just getting worse!

Am i the only one who got "BIG" problems with this piece of crap?

Kind Regards :(

Fortunatly, I dont have these problems... quite the contrary, actually. But then again, I never had problems with Microsoft either. (never tried Vista though)

cool it xzusa8ky,

what mac are you upgrading ?

I 'v had a very decent upgrade experience on a 17 " G4 powerbook, with everything on it : Live, Reaktor, Max etc. Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, etc everything works.

Like, did you get a blue screen on booting up after install, then you have to get rid of some application enhancers, stuff like that.

I´m with you man! very long bootup..takes longer than on tiger with more stuff installed..kernel panics as well..the finder crashes way more often while multitasking than on tiger..only nice thing so far for me are the spaces..but thats just small bonus..

hope they sort this out soon..

My Leopard boots slow when the Apogee is connected via firewire400. If not, it boots very fast. Something to consider, maybe?

Did you buy Leopard? Because there are images dropping on the net like rain drops..............

What kind of RAM is in your Apple?

Which Apple do you actually have??

What else is connected??

:?:

Dont rant without an indepth explanaition of your problem, thats just lame. And we cannot help you without information.

xzusa8ky, can't offer any advice as I do not plan to upgrade for probably another year, but I am curious as to how those who are having problems executed the upgrade.

Upgrade?

Archive and Install?

Wipe clean and fresh install?
