Bullshit.

There are plenty of adults that don't deserve respect from kids. That cop was one of them. There are tons of other things adults don't deserve. It appears you'll find out soon enough.
What exactly am i going to find out soon enough??

U guys are picking me up wrong..I said the Cop was erratic in his methods.....but if the young fella is going to disrespect the guy like that, then good on the cop for laying down the law. I know the cop was out of order...but only for the manner in which he spoke to the kid, and some of the things he said was a bit shit as well.....

Some of you guys are a bit quick to jump on the band wagon and call me all sorts of shit, and tell me to shut the fuck up because i have an opinion....

Ok so i see your point about the cop guy...i dunno how it is for young kids in America but over here they are a nightmare. Give them an inch and they will take a mile....They are incredibly unruly when they are in their gangs...

Yes the Cop was wrong for acting like that...and if hed have done that to my kid then i would not be amused at all!!!

Bottom line though, kids should NOT show disrespect for adults. This kid clearly gave the cop attitude. The Cop reacted in the wrong way though..he was out of order for some of the things he said.
Ok Scott i kinda know what you mean about the behavior of the kids in England and Scotland......They can be little fuckers!! But these kids are just boarding not Drinking under age and not beating people up just for the rush....you must see the difference here?!? Kids shouldn't disrespect adults i agree but i don't think you can class this Cop as an adult......And he's the 1 with the attitude problem.
What kind of example is he meant to be setting for these kids??

What kind of tests do you need to pass to become a cop in the US????
It amazes me that you need a permit to drive a car but any Dick can be a cop...
Yes...this is exactly what i am saying!

Thanks jez.

bull-fuckin-shit
He should be looking for real villains and dealing with them, not wasting people's taxes on mickey mouse shit like kids on skateboards.
Chicken-shit cops waste their time on this kind of muck instead of getting their hands dirty with real police work.
He made such a drama out of it, the guy was just lookin for an easy outlet. If he wanted to pwn the kid he could have done it in two seconds and moved on. When you think about it in terms of society it's just a waste of police time AND it's planting seeds of resentment in the youth, unnecessary

i don't see how the responded to him as giving him 'attitude.' calling him 'dude' isn't giving him attitude, that's just how lots of kids talk. these kids were obviously scared shitless by this guy, they were nervous. he is a prime example of everything wrong with law enforcement in our country. he thinks his badge makes him above reproach.

he also manhandled the kid and threw him on the ground, or did you skip that part? i'm not sure how things go in scotland but, in america, even cops can't just walk up to people and take their possessions from them, especially seeing as the kid was just sitting there with it.

Well, for one thing, anyone who "demands" respect is bound to get disrespected. It's happening to you now.

No worries dude, you're just taking the wrong side. The most out of line person in that confrontation was the adult, and a cop no less.

Kids should not categorically respect adults. That will actually get them into more trouble.
Hell, I know plenty of parents who don't deserve respect from their own kids.

Who do you think kids learn from? You really think that cop taught them something useful?

respect is a process not a right.

Ok lads.....

I disagree with Scotts first statement that the Cop was right..i think we all do..
But our anger should be aimed at this Fucking idiot that has a gun and a badge..not Scott...Scott had an opinion that was fueled by Kids that are generally abussive to people for no reason and are a big problem in the UK at the moment..
Just recently 3 kids were jailed for life for kicking a man to death just because he challenged them after they vandalised his girlfriends car..
these skaters were doing nothing wrong and that cop should be fuckin Fired!!

Im not demanding respect...Im just entitled to a opinion and i felt a few (or most) the guys in this post picked me up wrong and used it as an opportunity to have a go at me......i couldnt care what people think of me, never have and never will.....

I dont have a problem with you at all..and i agree with what you are saying.....and yes, actually i forgot all about the cop pushing the guy to the ground manhandling him...that was VERY wrong...

IM NOT STICKING UP FOR THE COP...BUT I CERTAINLY AINT STICKING UP FOR MOUTHY YOUNG TEENAGERS.

The cop was a dick, and should be sacked.....but the teenager wasnt totally innocent at the start of that video either...although he never deserved all that he got!!

Peace Out..

Don't worry the kids are fighting back

They rioted a Dead Prez concert in Hippie town Olympia @ the Evergreen State College

http://www.kirotv.com/news/15310821/det ... a&psp=news

Over turned a POLICE cruiser and set it a blaze

good for them

cops are retarded - sure we need 'em but think about this

it takes a very special / not quite there person to be a cop. that's why so many of them are wrong and corrupt. they just choose another way of becoming a criminal.

NWA and Ice-T come to mind...

I hear ya, and I don't mean to be bitching at you. Not my intention.

The problem with kids has something to do with things well upstream of them is all. There is a big why and it's not the kids.

I'l tell ya though, those kids are cop haters for life and they've gotta a cool video taking the fool on too, lol.

Anyway, not much difference between kids and adults. Assholes come in all ages.

well put. I got a streak of that in me a mile wide.

for all the problems Baltimore has I'm pretty sure the BPD could give a shit about this. in SF there are some crimes that the cops don't have time for and won't respond to. in perspective he's probably an embarrassment, but big deal, shit's REAL in Baltimore, they just need warm bodies to put into uniforms. smutek's seen shit worse than this over and over, so it seems.
