MIDI Mapping Problem

I have a UC 33e that I have been using with Ableton. I have used it natively as well as manual mapped. However, I just tried manual mapping and the yellow box shows that it is receiving MIDI, but no mapping is taking place! I click on the pan and turn a knob and nothing! The native mapping works fine. But I was trying to create a template when I discovered this problem. The only thing that I can see as different is the last time I manual mapped I was in Live 6 and now I have 7. Can anyone help? Thanks.

HAVE U TRIED GOIN IN TO OPTIONS THEN PREFERENCES THEN MIDI/SYNC MAKEIN UR CONTROL SURFACE ONE UR UC33E INPUT NONE OUTPUT NONE AND CHANGEIN THE MIDI PORTS BELOW TO SUIT. THAT WORKED FOR ME
