Using Hercs Plug-in and when I render it is all wrong

Basically, I have just created a really nice piece of music using Herc's Abakos plug in synth.

When I rendered it all was fine until the synth pad came into the mix and the pith was wrong and the settings of the sound had all changed so it sounds awful.

Also the bass guitar from 4Front plug in (again a freebie) also sounds distorted and too low.

It sounds fine when I play it on Ableton but when rendered it sounds rubbish.

Do I have to ditch these free plug ins?

Aha! I changed the rendering rate to 96000kbps and it works ok now - however, obviously it is a very large file size now

weird... lol
