Hi
I was hoping someone might have an idea or workaround for a problem I am having. I hope there is an easy solution that I am just not seeing.
I want to use "scenes" in session view to organize several different songs. Each song will basically be in a separate scene.
However, I realized that this creates a major problem for me. I use a different "Sampler" instrument for each song...and I need to control the Sampler instrument with my Midi Keyboard.
I obviously don't want to trigger 10 different sampler instruments at once...
I want to trigger only the Sampler instrument necessary for that particular scene.
So how can I go about having each scene only trigger the 1 instance of Sampler that I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
help / workaround for session view / midi keyboard problem

mention of the chain selector to move between Samplers would probably be helpful. load all the Sampler versions into a rack, right click to even distribute the chain selector then assign the chain selector to a midi controller, as you move the controller you'll be going from Sampler to Sampler, one at a time.sinnatagg wrote:Use an instrument rack.
