i have a "syntax error" with a track i was working on, and for some reason it took forever to render. then it said a "serious error occurred" and i had to reboot.
i came back up to re-render. and got the syntax error.
i've dumped the cfg, i've done the VST hide, all the things that were done above, AND i sent the .als file to a friend who tried to open it, who got the same error.
is there ANY way to salvage a corrupted .als?
i am desperate. please.

oogadee boogadee.
i had the same problem once and lost an entire song that was due for release.
copies of the set are the only way to go, but i don't see any way to prevent the copy from getting corrupted.
working off an external harddrive for your projects can cause some corruption i believe if the harddrive shuts down in a 'weird' way.

Hi Jakt,
you can send the corrupt .als file to [email protected]
We´ll check, if we can recover it.
