Impulse sound output problem

When running the Impulse instrument, I go to save a drum set, and afterwards there is no sound. The midi signals are received, it's just that you can't hear anything.

This seems to be intermitent. I have to quit Live 4 and then reopen the session.

iBook 900 G3, running OS X 10.3.5.

Is it possible you don't have the monitor or auto button pressed?
Or you may have to the red button in the tool bar, which resets things back to the original arangement.
