Best controller for live

Post by thatguy » Thu Feb 21, 2008 2:54 pm

I want to add another controller to my setup, I have an axiom 49 but also want something with lots of knobs/faders etc. What is the best one for under $500? Also, I may want to add a foot controller so I can play horn and launch samples at the same time, any thoughts?

As opposed to frivolous?

I have a remote SL25 and it is great. best purchase I made in a long time. I think there are stil a few gremlins with Live 7, but these should be ironed out soon enough.

The keyboard feels nice on this device. On hindsight I wish I had goen for one with a larger keyboard, but I can make do :-)

Would you rather have a larger Remote SL or an SL Zero plus a separate keyboard?

I would rather have a larger remote with keys than seperate devices. But everyones requirements/preferences are different. I love the fact that over the years I mave managed to really shrink my studio yet make it more powerfull :-)

I'm very interested by the patch on max/msp.. not for steal it (cause without monodeck ... unuseful !) ... but to understand the grid of clip triggers..
