hey, iv been using ableton live 6 for the last year or so and never had a problem so recently upgraded to live 7. However, i am having problems with my soundcard, i am using a line 6 Toneport UX2.
The problem is I keep gettin dropouts and crackling noises when im playing, or listening back to what has been recorded, this includes the midi drums so its not just my audio tracks.
I have tried altering the buffer size and followed the instructions for setting up the hardware but had no luck with it because when i use the test tone and set the buffer high enough to get a clean tone then i get like a half second delay.
Do i need a different soundcard or is there anything else i can try?
