Here's another downtempo track I managed to finish up this morning, been working on this one off and on since last year. All done in Live 6 and 7, synths are once again all from Zebra2, guitar is me playing my Ibanez S540 through a Line 6 Pod XT. Drums were a combination of ROM samples in the Machinedrum, and manually arranging drum hits in Live's arrange view.

I like the atmospheres and the guitar melody. My only criticism is the kick is a bit heavy and dominating for my taste. Listening on Ultrasone 750 pro headphones. Nice work.

The only "criticism" I have is I wished the drums didn't start until maybe that first fill, because they are kinda vanilla compared to those really cool ring modded ambient sounds.... i really wanted to wade neck-deep in those wacked out sounds, rather than rock out. But thats a taste thing.

Once the track gets going, the drums are enjoyable.
I really like the first distorted lead sound, too. A little mean but still ambientish. Its got a weird attack on it, how'd you get that swell on some of the notes?
