The (m) and (s) Suffixes in sampler modulation ???

The (m) and (s) Suffixes in sampler modulation ???
This I cannot find EVEN in the fmanual. What do the (m) and (s) suffixes in sampler modulation dropdown box DO or represent

m means the modulation is always mono. the LFOs can create stereo modulations, but some modulation targets cannot be stereo for technical reasons.
s means the modulation is stereo, if the LFO procuses a stereo waveform.
simple example: start and loop points are mono, filter freq modulation can be stereo.
