I met Barack Obama tonight

My wife and I volunteered at a town hall with Barack tonight at Duncanville, TX. Afterwards, the volunteers were asked to support Barack while he taped an interview for the Ellen DeGeneres show (which will air tomorrow, so check it out!). After the interview, Barack said hello to the group and shook hands and took the picture below. Great guy, very genuine, a real "everybody" kind of guy. The real deal.

I have this slightly sad, depressed feeling about the whole Obama thing - like I will feel really shitty when eventually that OAP POW gets voted in because of the thick backward fucks who go out to vote while genuine thinking people like Smutek and Glu abstain and let it happen

It would be the making of America of Obama ended up president, and the fact that there is so much excitement surrounding it is what makes me feel depressed to think he likely wont get in
