Help with double-triggering problem

Post by nessiecansado » Thu Feb 28, 2008 2:30 pm

I played a gig last night and the drum pads on my Akai MPK49 started double-triggering notes in the drum rack it was routed to in Live. This has never happened before. Any ideas what could cause this and how to remedy? thanks for your help

Hi,
did you by any change had your mpd placed on an unstable surface, since this causes to most of my pad-controllers a crossfeed problem. I'm not familiar with mpds, but I take there is possibility to adjust crossfeeding or sensitivity of the pads. The best solution IMHO has been to place them on a solid surface, though.

I have the same problem with my Trigger Finger actually, I've seen some other posts about it when I googled the problem but no real replies as to what the problem is. I have my velocity set to full and sometimes i get those irritating double hits. drives me nuts!

The first mpk49 I received had a similar problem because the pads were
already ruinded...

If the potenzometer of the thing is destroyed You can only return the thing.

Greetings, Dandy
