^ I think that Barack's the only one who describes it well - change happens when enough people want it badly enough and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. To sit back and say, "what's the government going to do about it, while I do nothing" is a fairly complacent attitude...one that hasn't worked well for America. How sad are we that only about 1/3 of us actually go out and vote.

While the policy positions between Hillary and Barack are similar, the one thing he has over any other candidate in years (if not decades) is that he is inspiring more and more people to get involved and do something about it. Change happens when we get off our asses and make change happen. I've never been this involved or this motivated to be a part of something so big. I see everyday ordinary people getting psyched up, sacrificing time and jobs and families to make a difference. I don't think that's gonna stop with just this campaign. And I also don't think any other candidate can say that she has this effect on people.

Not flaming, just tell you what I think is really going on this year.

nah actually, i am pleasantly surprised of him, at least of what we heard here in denmark.

He's a total democrat...I see no reason why he's with the GOP...makes no sense given his extremely moderate and even liberal views

he's a GOP in traditional sense.

he doesnt like big spending and supports the independence of the states decisions from the fed level.

also isnt his wife from a GOP bloodline?

I get that someone is a Republican in the fiscal sense...that's a much more traditional view of the party, instead of the modern and heavily bastardized religious right-wing crap that has infested the party, so kudos to governator for keeping it god-free.

His wife is a Kennedy...so the bloodlines are deep in Democratic, not GOP.

GOP = Grand Old Party, AKA Republican party.

Governator's wife, Maria Shriver, endorsed Obama a few weeks ago. Caused a bit of a stir given that her hubby endorsed McCain.

Mrs. Neb here. I think some of you are missing the point. If you could see how many people are attending meetings (on all topics related to voting) here in Texas, you might get a sense of what the game plan's going to be.

If Obama gets elected, many of these supporters and volunteers and bloggers are not going to just go back to Live sets and Fun Fun posts and let him do whatever he wants.

He'll be accountable -- more accountable than any president before. If anybody recognizes the power of one, it's him.

B0unce, gosh, bitter much? Try to make things the way you want them to be if you think things suck so bad. It's not that hard to meet a candidate, we did it yesterday.

Another interesting factoid is that this is the first time since the 50's that neither a vice president is running nor a current president running for a second term. It's all noobs.

Of course some people see Hillary as an extension of Bill. If she gets in office I so hope they start a reality series on Fox which of course will cause the rest of the world to follow. How great would it if we could all tune in and watch the zany daily lives of world leaders.

Excellent question! I'm sure Obama supports the proposed Constitutional amendment to expand automation rights to parameters beyond 18, but I'm a little worried about his support for the resolution favoring implementation of data-encoded vinyl. Hmmm....

You Ron Paul isolationists really piss me off! Ableton cannot survive as a DAW alone. It must interface with other applications in our global economy. And Rewire is worse than NAFTA!
