For those of you having issues with the Trigger Finger not instant mapping to the drum racks (which was me for the last three days)......
1. In Midi/Sync, select it as a control surface
2. Under the Midi ports, make sure TF's Track and Remote are set to On
3. In the track with the rack, select the TF in the Midi From droplist
4. Set the TF to Preset 1
5. Click on the device title bar and try it out.
If that doesn't work (and feel free to let me have it, forumites) try a FACTORY RESET of the Trigger Finger. That's what worked for me. Yes, shame on me for not doing that initially, however in my own defense I took this thing right out of the shrink-wrapped box and thus thought it was factory fresh.
Let my stupid oversight be this forum's gain!
Moral of the story: Reset the damn thing anyway when trouble shooting.
Here's how you do it:
Disconnect the USB/power supply from the TF
Hold down Prog/Bank Change AND Full/Lock Velocity keys
Reconnect power source and release buttons a few seconds after it powers up.

Hey Leonardrock,
Thanks for the tips, but the device parameters do not work for me unless I manually map them. Have you had any luck with this?
Automap with the pads work, even the transpose slider that controls main volume works. However the device parameters do not work.
I tried the factory reset and I'm on Preset 1.
thanks!
