brilliant..rachmanoff wrote: uhhh, yeah. what exactly constitutes "having something against" something? why don't you just own up and say you didn't know what you were talking about when you first posted? "I don't like batteries"... seriously? i hate it when people have to do this kind of crap to salvage their ego. you're slowing evolution with your denial.
not having something against ..means that while not finding a product usefull for whatever reasons .. yet not pointing a finger and laughing at someone else for using it .. really .. if other people like it .. that is great ..
still .. I read the specs and I think that it is expensive.. tho it has a lot of features .. I still dont like it .. dont like the looks of it .. I dont like midicables nor powersupplys .. and seriously I dont like batteries...its that simple.
_I_ think that there are sollutions better suited for the kind of live gigging that I do ... and if you just have a problem with it .. its tough titties .. you dont know me or my "ego" that im trying to salvage.. and in the end .. it is only the music that matters...
so .. whatever .. moving along ...
it's possible to use the controllers on many laptop keyboards if you take midi cables with angle plugs.ekko wrote:The picture is slightly misleading, though, as the midi cables would prohibit one from placing them directy in front of the screen like that on a laptop. The cables make it rather unweildy in that scenario. (As is the case with cabling in ALL studio situations...GOD I hate cables.)
*dreaming of the day when ALL studios are truly wireless*
