Hi,
since version 7 I have switched to using External Instruments for rewiring Reason to Live. Now I have a problem:
I set up two NN-XT devices in Reason and two corresponding External Instruments in Live. Both hooked up correctly, I can play them from Live, happy days. Then I record MIDI into each track, a simple 4 bar phrase.
When I play back both tracks, looped, after a short while the second track (whichever I triggered secondly) falls behind and gets out of sync. I have no idea why, the CPU load is below 30 %.
My configuration is:
MacBook 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, OS 10.4.11
Ableton Live 7.0.2, Reason 4.0.1
Your help is much appreciated!
Cheers
Jost

I didn't have problems with rewiring Live 6 with Reason, neither Live 7.
I'm on PC. A lot of these issues seem to be intel mac users running dual core processors - this is an observation rather than proven fact b4 the flaming starts.
