Another vore for crazy ivan as Smutek mentioned. Use that thing with simpler/sampler, good fun.

W1, automat, crystal - must have's. Crystal is years old, and still such a great synth. Sort of a free absynth like alternative.

Lots of other good little fx too like Betabugs filter and monsta chorus.

So...are there any decent free vocoders for osx? What about some autotune-thingies? Convolution reverbs?

I don't really need more VA synths and "weird" effects..

Sonicbirth is a Freeware plug in building suite. Works similar to Reaktor and comes with a bunch of pre-built plug ins among which there's a convolution reverb.

Oh I almost forgot....

Camel Crusher by Camel Audio. Absolutely awesome. In fact I like the sound of the compressor even better than Camel phat, it's big brother (which isn't free). And crusher includes many of the overdrive types.

I'm really enjoying LAConvolver. (free convolution reverb for OSX)
