Live performance - table / stand

this is a total noob question, but it's better than watching you guys talk about food, girlfriends, poker .... or debating if people actually use linux (they don't, btw). so here it is:

i use a laptop and a small m-audi oxygen8 in my live performance rig ... it's small enough to find a space for it on top of an amp or in a corner, but does anyone have any suggestions on a stand that they like, or if they just bought a small table, etc.? fyi - i supplement my band's trad rock with some samples, etc. closest thing to reference it to is something like what snow patrol does ...

I just use a folding double X-style keyboard stand with a small piece of 3/4" MDF wood on top, painted black to match the stand and look nicer. Easy to transport, and you can have it cut to exactly the size you want for dead cheap at any Home Depot if you don't have tools at home.

thanks for the reply, tarekith. i was gonna do something like that ... maybe get a little padding, and staple a vinyl/rubberish cover over to make it a little soft and grippy.

figured i could put it on top of this stand (only $34) ...
