Fuck CDS.

Any feedback on the Behringer bcd 2000 or 3000.

I’m an indie DJ who’s fcking off cds for good. I’m not sure whether to go this route of buy something like an M audio X-Session Pro and take my external sound card along to gigs as well. The bcd looks a bit cheap, but what do you expect for the money right!

Cheers

Waaaay more functionality in the Behringer BCR 2000 than the BCD. The BCD has those jog wheels that do a whole lot of nothing in Ableton. Sure you could probably find something to do with them, just better to have all the knobs the BCR has IMO.

If you are planning on using Traktor then the BCD3000 is perfect. With Live? Not so much.

Dont touch the BCD2K with a barge pole - they f*cked up the midi implementation of the job wheels and did it in a way that no normal software seems to want to work with.

3K is apparently OK - though why they felt they needed to built a new produuct rather than do an OS upgrade is beyond me...
Nothing to see here - move along!
