Hey, today I received my new M-Audio X-Session pro and I'm mapping it all up to Live but I have one problem, THE CROSSFADER!
I just can't seem to map it...I can get it to jump from one side to the other but I can't get it to go smoothly as I move it on my x-session. Do you have any tips?
Thank you very much,
thr33

What version of Live? Does the X-Session assign and crossfade OK in the same version of Live?

Have you tried different crossfade curves (right-click on the cross-fader)?

Hey substance, thanks for the help... I tried all the different types of curves and it still just skips from one side to another...
I appreciate any help you can think of.
Thanks!

how did you set up your MIDI config in your preferences? is the track and remote switch on for that device?

Yes they are, but 'remote' is not on.

i have the x-session pro and had the same problem at the beginning, what I did is trying several times to click on different points of the crossfader line and then assign till I hit the right point and had it working smoothly; so I guess it's just a matter tryouts (at lest it was for me)
good luck
