Can't get my usb keyboard and live to connect?

I had been using my oxygen usb keyboard with reason. Installed live , go to the midi prefs and see my keyboard there. I switch to midi in the session view , but can't get any sound going. It seems the midi is controlling something but no sound generate. Can anybody help. I am not a midi expert.. I am basically just looking to trigger samples in the session view with my midi keyboard ?

Hope I'm not insulting your intelligence, but when I first tried to set Live 3 up, I had the same problem. Are you turning the monitor on for the MIDI track? In L3 there was an ON/OFF button, but I think there’s a different switch in L4 – Auto & Off? (I’m at work, and can’t check).
