I plugged it in and it showed up in Itunes.
Maybe you need the latest version of Itunes.
weird ...

Let's see what we can do to assist you further.

Based on your reply, I understand that you do not have a Windows-based
operating system to support the Zen MicroPhoto player.

I would like to apologize for lack of support for this player on Mac OSX
operating system.
Just double checked. It shows up as "Nomad muVo" in Itunes.
But it does work. FWIW, I just drag songs onto the disk image. Same difference, you still have to drag something somewhere.
I got the "Zen Stone plus".

we us 2 h4's at work with the students, they are a bloody brilliant. the build quality isnt amazing and i expewct them to break, but the sound quality, the usability, the speed of use are awesome. they connect without fuss to even admin restricted machines and record in mp3.

There's nothing about these recorders i dont like.

apart from the battery stuff... they EAT batteries. 1 pair AA lasts 45 mins of solid recording, and thats on both machines, but pffft. batteries is my only gripe.

@ dodgyedgy / udp:

I'm really interested in the XLR inputs on the H4 but solely when being used with phantom power AND batteries, NOT AC / USB power!! Can either of you confirm you've tried this exact setup and what sorta results you got? If I get an H4 it will be used for field recording in the middle of nowhere so the phantom power/battery/XLR combo needs to be reliable... sorry to be so specific...

Cheers guys!

on set the other day, my man the sound mixer recorded all the day's work to his brand new h2 functioning as an audio interface on his pc running vista. worked perfectly fine. and when we were feeling lazy, i went to record wild tracks for him in another part of the building armed only with the h2 and some headphones. sound mixer and boom operator approved. i have an h4 myself, and i can vouch for both as being worth the money.

ASIO? Who uses ASIO?

It's a class compliant USB audio device. Any decent operating system should come with one built in...
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.
