thumb drive

I know drive and bus speed is important, with that said Anyone try running a Live set off a usb2 thumb drive? the size of them have really gone up, + solid state memory. if the speed was right seems like it could be ideal?

the USB standard is still the limiting factor to throttle the bit stream. me thinks.
