PC to Mac .als Copy = PITA over Missing Samples from Library

Hi all - perplexing problem here - I have a few basic sets I've built on my PC and when I move them to my Mac, I get nagged about missing samples from the Library, even though I'm using all stock Live stuff.

Anyone have thoughts?

Surely I wouldn't have to collect and save all samples to make this happen smoothly, would I? (8O)

Could it be related to the Library folder name or location?

this is the easiest method for sharing file between os's. probably has something to do with how the files are organized, ie. the diff between mac and windows, but if the relatively simple excercise of collecting and saving can't be bothered with, you can always search, i'm sure live will find the files :wink: eventually :lol:

That's a bummer when including EIC instruments - mondo big file sizes!

I recently switched from PC to Mac and ran into this with one sample (that I thought was part of the stock library). I eventually found it with Spotlight and moved it into the project folder of the set in question. Then I let Live (6.0.10) search for and find the sample. So it's back to good now.

Not sure how much of this I'll run into as I migrate my projects. We'll see.
