and be prepare to feel worthless about anything and everything u have done.

I saw them at Glastonbury a few years back and was a bit underwhelmed to be honest.

It was just a jumbly mess with no dynamics, although to be fair I couldn't really get close enough to the stage to be enveloped by it and it was a bit quiet.

well they only played one track from their new album, they went on a huge journey of vocal free electronic bliss..

the entire show was amazing, musically sonically and visually (both video and lighting).

the sounds they have were the most amazing.. when they went out of 'song' mode they just would go on a huge modular synthesis type tangent with the most insane squelches and LFO's and bleeps creating walls of sound ive not heard since 4 years ago when i last saw them... and the best part is that everyone in the crowd followed every single vibe they put out.

i cant believe that they would go through house, electro and breaks in ways that were just impossible to predict what was about to happen next. they truely inspired and shamed me.

the visuals were sooo bloody good.. ive never seen lasers do what they had set up .. and in the end the "Bros" went on a massive twisty squelchy buildup .. the lasers took on since wave - forms and left 10,000 people with theyr drug ridden eyes popping out of their head.

all i had was half a beer yet i was higher than the last time i saw them whilst extremely stoned.

its a bugger they didnt give the right vibes at places like glastonbury becuase here they had 10,000 people guessnig in suspense every minute.

But, I bet they didnt' have a hot blonde singer shaking it in front of them, after which they received a series of "you da man" pistol-finger points from a gameshow host wearing a pink shirt. They didn't, did they?? Hmmm???

Sounds cool! Lasers and lightings add so much to a show. I've been to the best rated lasershow in Europe. That was some crazy shit what they can achieve with a 400 single lightbeams!

re: no drugs...I believe it. I remember driving around when time when I was completely off everything, listening to Sunshine Underground...I was so freaking blissed out, tears streaming down, I 100% felt like I was on the best pure clean roll ever. Pure music. Booyaaa!

I'm glad they have improved

The first time I saw them was billions of years ago when they were called the Dust Brothers and were still unknowns booked in to play the bar area at the local club. I was one of (at most) 7 people sat on a sofa listening to them. It was just them and a pile of records. Pleasant enough

the last time I saw them I was on the bill with them at Reading festival and they were really really boring. The epitome of email checking, I was massively disappointed and decided to never attempt to see them live again.

Anyway - I'm very glad that they have raised themselves from this nadir, I'll contemplate checking them out again.

I'm also glad to hear their live show improved. Last I saw them was many Coachellas ago and even though I'd put the sound in my top 5 experiences the visual show was quite boring with mostly just a movie projector on a circular canvas, minimal light show, and you couldn't see them because they were buried in gear.

I've noticed the consumer level lightening and lasers has really gone up in quality so I can only assume the pros must be using something insane. Oddly, my most memorible laser experience was a motley crue concert.

Between The Chem Bros, Justice, and Daft Punk I hope these guys start moving past hiding behind a mountain of gear on stage. When you get the behind the scenes view there really isn't a need to be hiding. You could put a lemur and a laptop on a tv tray. Show some legs brothers!

I CAN TELL YOU even though you don't like the music, standing in those lasers was indescribable. they could even go like waves just above you and so on like you describe. here they go insane. 25 000 people and insanely loud music, lights who blinded you. No drugs needed (but many took i suppose)
