Presonus Firebox Sound Cuts while Gaming

sometimes the sound cuts, I have presonus firebox set as audio out on windows xp sp3 rc2 (it did it with sp2 as well).

The game is CoD4... it's weird and very annoying I have to sys restart to get sound back.

However in Live I can go hours with no probs.. and in Cod4 ya can't choose device so it has to be on control panel..

help much appreciated as always

I'm guessing your firewire card is on the same IRQ as your network card...

Check that...
