Acidized Loops

Post by snipe » Sat Aug 28, 2004 3:17 pm

Hi,
When using Soundforge, if I acidize my loop does that help live determine where to place it's markers. Does it help or benefit me in any way to acidize the loops?

I haven't found any info that would suggest Live reads Acidized wave files. I could have missed something though. Anyone?

I meant to say Live will load acidized files but I'm not sure if it helps Live determine where to set markers. I would be interested to know...

Acidized Loops...

maybe it's just the way that FL studio acidizes, but I have found that the acidization "confused" Live 4....I created an acidized loop in FL , dragged it to Live and the warp markers default positions were all off. With some serious tweaking you could probably straighten it up, but that ain't the point when you're using Live! I went back to FL, resaved the same loop with no acidization, dragged it into Live, and didn't even need set any warp markers!
Weird? Yes, but since it worked- I've not worried about it... it *may* have just been that one loop, but there it is...
