This is my first post, but as I know about general forum rules - search before asking, I did so. Unfortunately couldn't find the answer.
My question is - can you export general midi maps from Live to use them later in other Live's projects. I mean basic functions like mixer volume and pan, sends, solo, mute etc. Can I map them and export these settings like for example in Cubase ?
I'm using Live 7 now by the way.

Sorry for making a little mess here. I just found out how I can achieve my goal. It's not exactly a midi map export , but what I just heard was that when I assign my controller to functions in Live and then save a template, it will recall all my midi mappings next time I use this template for my next project.
But still - anyone knows about the way to export these settings to a single file?

there is no regular function in live to do that.
but you could make an "user-remote-script"
this is my second post in this forum, but i'm sure, there are some topics about it.
or watch my topic about the faderfox-functions. it also could fix your problem. the best way is a combination of both ways: User-Remote-Script + Faderfox-Rip

the problem here is, that when you change your mapping, it won't change for your old live-sets atomaticlymorerecords wrote:just save your song, it includesd your MIDI m,appings
