simple step filter vst???

Post by Smellhound » Sun Mar 09, 2008 4:47 am

I'm looking for a low-CPU consuming step filter that can sync to the host clock (or at least has a built in tempo adjustment). I've been trying to use dblue glitch for this purpose by setting up slightly different cutoffs/res on each effect, but it has a bug that reverts all the filters back to the 2 pole (A) every time the session is reopened. Sounds good while it lasts, but there has to be something more simple out there...suggestions?

Easiest I know is the

Audio Damage BigSeq

Another one, quite complete
Sonicbytes Gat'R

And
Xoxos series
http://www.xoxos.net/

This last is very interesting... but not sure it works in Live.

If that's all you wanna do - why don't you use Autofilter with some automation envelopes? Maybe used with dummy clips for added versatility.
