Yeah, I went down to Slatepipe's gig. Not the kind of thing I'd normally seek out, but really enjoyed it. 8)

Also heard from mindlobster earlier. He's putting something together with Ableton and others, so that'll probably be the "official" London users group. If you're interested, drop him an email (mindlobster Image mac.com)

We should know more soon...

Well, it's a little over a month since the last meeting of Ableton Live London users, which resulted in Andy Slatepipe and I sharing tips over a few drinks in a Shoreditch pub. So I figure it's about time we tried to do it again...

How about Wednesday the 12th or Wednesday the 19th of March (which'd be about two months on from the last one) at around 7:30pm in the Reliance pub Old Street?

Anyone interested?

I'm up for a meetup and some beers. Either of those dates should be ok.

Right then, this is a week from today. So far, it looks like we have a 50% increase on numbers from last time... ;)

Who else is gonna come down?

In case anyone that I haven't already spoken to is going to come down to this, it looks like we're now going to be at The Foundry (just round the corner from The Reliance).

I think it went well, although it's all very informal - just drinks and Ableton-related chat amongst a few like-minded souls (and I do mean "a few"!)

Lots of talk about controllerism and wondering whether we could start a London Warper night. Early days though. But seems people know people so anything could happen...

Also met up with a couple of DJs/VJs - not Ableton-based, but we're not prejudiced (and we like nice visuals!)

Anyway, I don't want to steal anyone else's thunder, but looks like we might have some Ableton based club nights coming up in the not too distant future...
