Damn FCB1010!

Post by thatguy » Tue Mar 11, 2008 5:47 am

I want this thing to be as cool as it seems like it should be. I programmed the pedals to send note messages and when I assign one to a clip it will trigger it once and then just stop working, it won't re-trigger, if I stop the clip w/ the mouse it still won't trigger it again, it does nothing until I re-program it. WHY!!!???!!!!

what is it outputing? CCs ? note numbers?

go for note numbers if you are starting off with it - they are the most easy to understand IMO. Also , get a midi analysis app to see what is reaching your computer. I use MidiOX , it's free.

needless to say - it should work fine.

I was sending note numbers. I tried monitoring the signal with MIDI monitor. I would program the pedal and then the first few times I would trigger it the note values would show up and then the fourth or fifth time it would just say "reset" where the note values had been. I don't think I did anything that would have reset the pedals however. I repeated this process 5 times and same thing everytime.
